Time To Fly

I remember,
You came to me on a sunny day of May,
You were so precious to hold in my arms to stay.
You are growing bigger every day,
I know I must let you walk away.
Down in my heart from here to the sky,
You are taking steps with wings to fly.
Do you know how much you mean to me?
As you grow into what you will be.
I know sometimes to you I seem harsh and so unfair,
But one day you will see, I taught you well because I care.
I am so proud of all that you are.
You will always be my shining star.
Soon, your first day of Kindergarten would be here,
And we are excited that is perfectly clear.
Mommy will walk with you and kiss you goodbye.
Spread your wings precious girl it’s time to fly.

Kimzi Developmental Milestones

Scrapbooking your baby's activities are the best way to cherish memories when they grow up...

Kimzi is beginning to talk with two or three words as a sentence. Her vocabulary includes "mama-papa" always together :),dada aao, nana, bua, didi, bhaiya, baby, mami, num num (food),mum mum (water),aw aw(dog),awu(cat),bye, jai jai,no,nai, haan.

Kimzi is becoming quite a little child now. She runs well and feeds herself and her little dolly with a fork and spoon. Her little dolly is her companion and she loves to mother her, imitates me basically.

She enjoys drawing with crayon on paper. Identifying body parts and animals are the basics for every child, it is kind of a first chapter in their syllabus :) and so she covers that quiet well.. By now, She Identifies A,B,C and 1,2,3 quickly.

Fav Rhyme: Twinkle Twinkle, I am little Teapot
Fav Song: Doe a deer, Que Sara
Fav Story: Winnie the Pooh story
Fav Dance number: Lakdi ki kathi

Being a SuperMom

It is contrary to the common notion that working women who give up their careers to raise a family tend to get bored sooner or later.
I believe, anyone who thinks that once you are a sabbatical "housewife" you really miss work because you sit around twiddling your thumbs, and i think they dont really know the real picture!
With me,the normal non-working day looks like hmmmm; if i take it today: I rose early, woke up Rohit and Kimzi, went to gym, returned home and got Kimzi ready for the day, cooked and served breakfast and fed Kimzi, by the time she played I handled the household chores, studied and then again Kimzi was ready for her next feed, read her a bedtime story then barely made it to this blog, and once i am done- I will get back to my studies and then it will be time to wake Kimzi up and cook something for Rohit as he is an evening snacker :) after 7 is kind of a "couple time" with my husband and then I start planning tomorrow! Phewwww, where do I ve time to "miss" work? Every woman wants to be like her mum and so do I, she has done her jobs tremendously with so many sacrifices to raise her children, and she succeeded to be a perfect "Mom" and a perfect "Homemaker".
Wish me luck Mom!
